We have a fantastic opportunity for HGV Technician at our Portsmouth location, to join the Sparks Team as you will be a key member of our operation. The role is to carry out all aspects of service, repair and maintenance work on all commercial vehicles that are booked into the workshop. You will liaise with the Workshop Controller and Service Team to ensure the best customer service for our clients. We are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and a dynamic personality who will share our energy and passion and contribute to our ongoing success. The Technician will be responsible for carrying out vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s procedures within standard times set.

Salary inclusive of shift allowance from £50,170.00 depending on experience and skill set. Based on a five-day shift, Monday to Friday 10.00pm to 6.30am inclusive of ½ hour unpaid lunchbreak. Overtime is always available but not guaranteed.

Duties will include:

· Vehicle inspection

· General servicing

· Fault diagnosis

· Repair of vehicle defects

· Road test vehicles

· MOT preparation/presentation

· Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty

· Completion of all required paperwork accurately

The successful candidate will:

· Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three of equivalent).

· Institute of Vehicle Recovery qualified

· Have previous relevant experience gained in a similar industry.

· Have a full driving licence, ideally include HGV Licence

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Parts Advisor at our Portsmouth location to join the Sparks Team.  As Parts Advisor, you will be a key member of our operation and will be involved in duties such as over the counter customer parts sales both in person and on the telephone.  Dealing with a busy workshop for orders for Renault and all makes parts.  Sourcing and ensuring the control and procurement of the same.  Involvement in stock controls and stock taking.  Issuing PPE equipment to staff.  Resolving invoice queries, sorting returns to suppliers, chasing for credits on the same.  Controlling warranty parts retention and processes. Receive, record and allocate parts and consumables from our suppliers.  Involvement in controlling waste disposal, purchasing of tools and equipment for the workshop including consumables.  Daily and weekly husbandry of the parts department and parts storage areas.  All parts are controlled by our dealer management system DMS.  We request all staff promote the company in a positive way to enhance parts sales and growth opportunities.

We are looking for someone with a proven experience in a Parts role with a dealership (car or commercial).  We are looking for someone pro-active, excellent communications skills, enthusiastic and a dynamic personality who will share our energy and passion and contribute to our ongoing success.  We are very excited about the future, could we be a part of your future to?

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Customer Service Reception at our Swindon location.  You will be a key member at the heart of our operation.  To ensure that service administration duties within the Swindon Depot are controlled and processed to a high standard to included excellent customer satisfaction. This is a busy hands-on role, which offers a wide range of duties such as planning of schedule servicing, tachos and MOT bookings, job creation, obtaining and updating of order numbers, creation of night board, liaise with workshop control to notify of work arriving and waiting to be commenced, retail invoice costing.  We are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and a dynamic personality who will share our energy and passion and contribute to our ongoing success.  We are very excited about the future, could we be a part of your future to?

You must have an excellent telephone manner and computer skills, experience in the automotive industry is preferred by not essential. You need to be pro-active, take pride in what you do, a willingness to learn and be engaged with training and an interest in pursuing a career within our industry. Full training will be given.

The successful candidate will be working within and alongside the Service and Parts Teams.  As the role could be customer facing, company uniform will be provided.
