Renault Trucks has officially unveiled an upgraded version of its popular E‑Tech T electric truck range, introducing the E‑Tech T 780, capable of travelling up to 600 km on a single charge. This new model marks a significant step forward in electric haulage, combining advanced battery technology with optimised efficiency to meet the increasing demands of sustainable freight transport.

The refreshed E‑Tech T range has been carefully developed to meet the specific requirements of professional hauliers. The E‑Tech T 780 is designed for maximum range, allowing operators to cover long distances with fewer charging stops, which is particularly advantageous for intercity and long‑haul operations. Meanwhile, the E‑Tech T 585 focuses on providing high payload capacity, making it suitable for heavier loads while still maintaining electric efficiency. Renault Trucks offers a diverse lineup of electric vehicles built on the Renault Trucks E-Tech Master platform

With multiple configurations available, these vehicles can be customised to suit your specific requirements, just like a traditional vehicle. The range includes seven distinct versions, offering three lengths and two heights to balance volume, payload, or compactness. Additionally, platform-cab and chassis-cab models provide impressive payload capacities ranging from 1,321 kg to 1,594 kg (excluding bodyshell).

The electric motor delivers 57 kWh of power and a maximum torque of 225 Nm, powered by a lithium-ion battery with a range of up to 200 kilometers—adequate for most daily needs. Smart energy-saving features help extend this range, including regenerative braking that recycles braking energy to recharge the battery, low-resistance tires, and a cab pre-heating system that can be programmed during charging.
