We have a fantastic opportunity for a Group Used Vehicle Sales Executive to join the Sparks Team.  As a Used Vehicles Sales Executive, you will be a key member of our operation.  We are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and a dynamic personality has sales experience of used vehicles, a proven track record in the commercial vehicles sales sector who will share our energy and passion and contribute to our ongoing success.  We are very excited about the future, could we be a part of your future to?

You need to be pro-active, take pride in what you do, excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn and be engaged with training and an interest in pursuing a career within our industry. 

This role is to sell the full portfolio of used commercial trucks and vans for the group.  This includes all services, maintenance, financial products offered, workshop aftermarket, services and parts development.  Flexibility to support in other Territories throughout the group will be required, whilst also liaising with customers to upsell the Aftermarket Business, where ever there is an opportunity.  The majority of your time will be field based.

Main Task and Responsibilities are to sell used trucks vans and exceed the levels expected for your area.  To sell the complete range of products and services.  To actively prospect for new business, both with existing and new customers.  To maintain relationships with existing customers.  To work effectively with the CRM system.  To provide accurate financially sound quotations to customers, taking into consideration all their requirements.  Weekly reporting to Commercial Director. To attend regular meetings with the Group Sales Managers and Sales Team to ensure maximum customer satisfaction is achieved.  Attend and support customer events as and when required.  Some events maybe outside of your normal working hours, this will help to maximise potential opportunities for profitable growth within the business. Conduct and appearance is business-like at all times. Work in accordance with standards of health, safety, quality & environmental care. Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager.

Key Skills and Competencies would be good time management. Ability to work on your own. Use your initiative to create new business. Negotiation – ability to communicate with potential new and existing clients.  To negotiate professionally in tough situations whilst maintaining good working relationships. We have a fantastic opportunity for HGV Technician at our Portsmouth location, to join the Sparks Team as you will be a key member of our operation. The role is to carry out all aspects of service, repair and maintenance work on all commercial vehicles that are booked into the workshop. You will liaise with the Workshop Controller and Service Team to ensure the best customer service for our clients. We are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and a dynamic personality who will share our energy and passion and contribute to our ongoing success. We are very excited about the future, could we be a part of your future to?

The Technician will be responsible for carrying out vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s procedures within standard times set.

Salary inclusive of shift allowance from £50,170.00 depending on experience and skill set. Based on a five-day shift, Monday to Friday 10.00pm to 6.30am inclusive of ½ hour unpaid lunchbreak. Overtime is always available but not guaranteed.

Holiday including bank holidays is 28 days per year.

Duties will include:

· Vehicle inspection

· General servicing

· Fault diagnosis

· Repair of vehicle defects

· Road test vehicles

· MOT preparation/presentation

· Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty

· Completion of all required paperwork accurately

The successful candidate will:

· Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three of equivalent).

· Institute of Vehicle Recovery qualified

· Have previous relevant experience gained in a similar industry.

· Have a full driving licence, ideally include HGV Licence

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller to support our service team at our Portsmouth location.  As part of the Sparks Team, you will be a key member at the heart of our operation.  This is a very hands on, exciting, busy and challenging role.   Working within the team you will assist the daily operation of the workshop and its various components ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Monitor and control use of all workshop resources (staff, space and equipment) to ensure maximum impact on quality of work, efficiency and profitability.  Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operation of the workshop.  To be an active member of the service department team comprising workshop reception, foreman and stores to encourage high staff morale, timely customer care, workshop efficiency and productivity.  Monitor, resolve and report any action as appropriate to any health and safety issues in accordance with company policy.

Rate: Starting salary from £47,000 per annum plus shift pay. 

Shift: Based on a four nights 12-hour shifts pattern which is Monday to Thursday, 7.00pm to 7.00am with half an hour unpaid lunch.

We have a fantastic opportunity for HGV Technician at our Swindon location, to join the Sparks Team as you will be a key member of our operation. The role is to carry out all aspects of service, repair and maintenance work on all commercial vehicles that are booked into the workshop. You will liaise with the Foreman, Workshop Control and Service Manager to ensure the best customer service for our clients.

This shift has proved very successful in our other Depots. Having a long weekend every weekend means staff have a great work life balance.

Holiday including bank holidays is 28 days per year.
